Let's face it - if you're out here looking for your 'soul mate', chances are a few pictures and paragraphs won't cut it. I was happily married for some years until my wife passed away from a car accident on her way back home from work. We shared the good and the bad - that's when you really love someone - through the bad times. That's what makes a great life together. On this site, people obviously want to present their 'best' attributes (who doesn't 'love to laugh') - no one is saying that they have 'stuff'. The best I can hope for is someone who understands tolerance - learning to tolerate my stuff while I learn to tolerate theirs - and if all goes well, there will be plenty of good times in between. There - I said it. it's out there, and it can't be taken back. Cynical - maybe; realistic - I believe so; hopeful - most definitely. If I offended you, I apologize.Now about me - I have a great sense of humor (as you can tell from my first paragraph) and always try to look for the good in people and life in general. Family is very important to me.I love to cook – especially on the grill. I also like dining out and trying new places – but I do have my old favorites. I like most types of food, but would say seafood is my favorite.
